I recently attended an introductory meditation session offered by Felix Lopez. I had been attempting to meditate as a way of reducing anxiety and promoting my spiritual well being, but was becoming impatient with the incessant thoughts that seemed to pester my mind and dissuade me from my efforts. Felix lovingly encouraged me to think of these thoughts and wanderings as my mind's way of trying to be helpful. He described the mind and its errant thoughts like a small child who is trying to be helpful, but who is really making matters worse. This explanation allowed me to acknowledge the thoughts that come to me with love, compassion, and even gratitude, rather than with resistance. In doing so, I can more easily let them go and be at peace. These insights Felix offered have been instrumental in shifting the way I approach my thoughts, in or out of meditation, and have greatly and positively impacted my spiritual health and overall well-being. Felix is a compassionate and dedicated healer. He takes the time to talk to his [students and patients] and really find out what is going on in their lives… and how he can possibly help. Felix deals with the underlying causes of illness, pain, depression and despair. He looks at what is going on in your mind and your heart and how that is affecting your body and spirit. Then he works with you to find a way to deal with the underlying cause and find a place of deep relaxation and peace. I was having difficulty staying calm, always feeling the need to gasp for a deep breath. I could not calm my thoughts or my body--finding myself anxious, nervous, tense and sleep deprived. I am experiencing the power of presence more and more in my life…Obsessive thoughts about what I need to do at some point in the future or rehashing a story about “what happened to me” at some point in the past can spin out of control if left unchecked. Felix has helped me become an astute observer of my thoughts. The lessons I receive with Felix are often unexpected. Sometimes he “holds up a mirror” so I can take a good look at myself. (We can be completely unaware our own destructive patterns.) I don’t always like what I see - it can be downright painful - but in the end it’s always a blessing to see what was at one time in my blind spot. It makes me responsible for my experience. J.G.

I recently had the humbling pleasure to experience a retreat with Felix and some of his students. Words seem incapable of adequately describing the metamorphosis that is taking place within me. I will do my best to articulate:
After being with Felix and his students I have discovered a self-sustaining love, a love so powerful that it radiates through my whole body, affecting everything in my realm and beyond. Felix and I spoke before he conducted a group forum on meditation. In the brief time that we spoke together he listened deeply and asked questions that helped me come to a much better understanding of my practice and how to proceed on the path. Despite our brief contact I feel that he really saw how to help me personally. He is a gifted teacher. He is a loving brother who brings extra light to The Path and knows how to share it. K.O.

I first became aware of Felix when he came to Earth House in Indianapolis for a donation based meditation and yoga class with Nancy Schalk. My first interaction with him was on a one to one basis. I felt very comfortable and cared for. He is a completely non-judgmental presence that emanates love and compassion for others. I went to see him individually for Spiritual guidance / Buddhist psychotherapy. Felix affirms that God and I are the creators of my present and any future experiences. He encourages me to honor what is my heartfelt truth and that I am not doing anyone a service by compromising my dreams. I think that there are many modes of healings, gifts, lessons, blessings that Felix bestows on others. It seems that he meets each unique person where they are and decides what would be most beneficial for them at that time. I wanted to share with you an experience that I had with Felix, because I don't think that many people know about these kind of treatments and many could benefit from it, the same way I did:

I was suffering from panic and anxiety attacks for several months. It was so bad that I couldn't even fly on a plane for fear that I would have a panic attack on the air. One day I came upon a flyer regarding Prajnic Healing. It mentioned that " The techniques are a no touch, no drug therapies which heals the energy fields surrounding the human body. It is an effective way to relieve pain and suffering, be it mental, emotional, or physical. Ailments such as stress, depression, arthritis, aches and pains, migraine and many other ailments can be treated." Upon reading this I thought I'd give it a try. I contacted Felix. At that time he was working in Synergy Yoga in Miami Beach. I met with him once a week for a period of almost two months. I am so amazed at the results that I experienced! Not only have my panic attacks dissappeared (now I'm flying again), but I've felt many other positive changes.

I really wish that other people in my situation or with other problems can experience the "miracle" of Prajnic Healing. Now I know for a fact that it works on mental ailments such as stress or phobias but it also works on physical conditions.... I know Felix even cured someone with Lupus! K.S.
